A Parent Perspective

The Peer Mentoring program at Washington Middle School has had a profound positive effect on my son during his time there. He thoroughly enjoys attending school simply because he knows that he is part of the community and he gets to high five his peers in the morning before school. He also enjoys just simply being part of the group, Peer Mentoring provides that for him, without it he would be a lonely kid.

Allowing kids to develop a sense of understanding when it comes to being more open to others who share unique qualities. This program would be beneficial to all schools throughout Washington State.
